We Have Come A Long Way Since Our Groundbreaking

We have seen considerable growth since 2009 when we broke physical ground for the Ocean Shores’ Garden by the Sea, A Community Garden.  Several of our members have become WSU master gardeners and our garden has been featured in WSU’s Garden Tour.  Our new website is also groundbreaking as it shares coastal gardening tips and links to “how to” articles.

GBTS will also be putting out a newsletter to keep local gardeners up to date on education and fun programs we will be sponsoring in the garden.  We look forward to having more activities (both educational and just plain fun) in the garden in 2021 (hopefully towards the end of 2020 too).  Currently GBTS is closed to the public due to Covid-19.  We will let everyone know when we “reopen” to the public (plot renters are free to come in).

For now, please take a tour of our new website.  Check out the fun garden gallery pictures and the helpful gardening hints in the “Garden Tips & News” web section.
