The garden is definitely the go-to destination during the growing season! We appreciate the staff and Board members who dedicate their time and expertise to make the garden experience both educational and enjoyable! Several garden plots used to grow fresh produce for the local food bank is admirable and compassionate. Many of the gardeners share their seeds, bulbs, plants and harvest which brings our community even closer. Last year was my first time gardening at the Community Garden and I found everyone I met there to be very friendly and welcoming. Water hoses were well maintained and easy to use. I highly recommend renting a space there.

The lettuce was appreciated by the Food Bank clients. They were excited to have the fresh produce and to know it was locally grown just for the Food Bank. Many thanks to you and the board members for making the Garden a reality. Please pass our thanks on to the GBTS members and sponsors. One suggestion that came up today. It would be nice to have a GBTS sign when we distribute Garden produce...that way folks would know where the produce came from...and it may generate more interest in the Garden from the Food Bank clients. Today was Food Bank day. We served 103 families! Blessings to you!
