Garden by the Sea Newsletter #1
Dear Members & Friends,
Lots of things are growing in the Garden by The Sea!
We have weathered both the winter rains and the coronavirus blues. Thank you for practicing safe social distancing while getting dirt under your fingernails in the garden. It is so very nice to see all the new plants growing up.
Now is the time to reconnect with Mother Earth and with each other. Collectively we have a wealth of knowledge and we are looking for ways to share that with members and friends of Garden by The Sea. To that end we have redesigned our website and started this short newsletter with gardening tips.
Could you help us with ideas for the future newsletters?
What GBTS news and events would you like to see us cover? Are there specific topics you would like to see discussed during the year? Click the form below to drop us your ideas.
Darn Deer Tips
This first newsletter has some tips on how to survive the deer of Ocean Shores. There are also links to our new website for you to check out, especially our garden news tip section where you can sort the past tips by category.
We have been working hard this year to strengthen the community garden and we are proud of our accomplishments. The sun has returned and plants are growing. It looks like it will be a good growing year.
AGAIN, thank you for all your support!

Help Us Keep Our Tools Sharp
Please consider a donation to the Garden by The Sea's tool maintenance fund. The salt air and hard use really takes a toll on them. Your contribution is appreciated and we will send you a tax receipt for your records
