2026 Community Garden Opening

Dear Members & Friends,

Just a reminder that Garden by the Sea’s growing season 🌱 officially begins at our annual opening event on April 11th at 10am.

Come talk to master gardeners, rent a plot, shop for plants 🌺 & garden supplies, and enjoy some refreshments. The community garden will also be open from 10-1pm for self-guided tours. A great way to get ideas for your own gardens🌻! More details on our opening event are in the links below.

Remember: ... new gardeners will need an appointment for April 11th to rent a plot but everyone else can drop by anytime.

We hope to see you in April, and at some of our activities throughout the year. In the meantime, follow & like us on Facebook for event updates.

Let's dig in and get growing!

Karen Young, President

We Need Volunteers

Please consider volunteering at Garden by the Sea. Working in the garden provides fresh air, exercise, as well as a meaningful way to give back to the Ocean Shores community!

At GBTS, we match volunteer opportunities with your schedule, interests, and abilities. Here are some of the most common ways you can help: By watering in the garden one day per week during the summer, adopting a flower bed or common area to weed and water regularly, or attending our social, fun (and productive!) monthly work parties.

To sign up, please call 425-255-4025 or email info@GardenByTheSeaOceanShores.org .

Click the More Information button below for a complete list of opportunities.

Please Consider a One-time Donation

Your donations allow us to offer plot discounts to the food bank, fund childrens' programs, and to purchase soil, seed, and tools for gardeners' use. Your contribution is appreciated and tax deductible.
